Five Men Arrested After Stabbings at Thamesmead Music Event

Five men have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder following a brutal stabbing spree at a late-night music event in Thamesmead. The chaos left five men hospitalised with stab wounds.

Stabbing Chaos at Music Bash

The Metropolitan Police rushed to Nathan Way, SE28, at 4:19am on Saturday, 17 May, after reports of a huge fight and multiple injuries at a music event hosting around 300 people. Officers found five men aged 22 to 32 injured and swiftly called in the London Ambulance Service.

  • Three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
  • The other two are still under medical assessment.

All five men have now been arrested for violent disorder as police launch a full investigation.

Police Launch Full Probe

“Officers responded quickly to aid the injured alongside the London Ambulance Service and ensured the safety of the crowd,” said Detective Inspector Steven Andrews, heading the investigation. “The five men injured have been arrested for violent disorder. We are working to establish if others were involved.”

A police cordon remains in place on Nathan Way with extra officers patrolling the area throughout the day.
