Police have detained five people aged 16 to 55 on suspicion of attempted murder. Officers acted fast, making all arrests within an hour of the stabbing call.

“We understand this serious assault is likely to cause concern among the local community and we want to reassure them that it’s being thoroughly investigated,” said Acting Chief Inspector Tom Gent of Avon and Somerset Police.

Police Ramp Up Patrols and Appeal for Witnesses
