Police Imposes Section 60 Order After Teen Stabbing in Slough
17-Year-Old Stabbed in Langley Area Sparks Police Action
Police have slapped a Section 60 order on parts of Slough after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed around 3.30pm yesterday. The affected zone includes the Langley area, as marked on the official map.
Order Active from Evening till Morning
The crackdown kicked off at 6.20pm on 21 October and will run until 10am the following day (22 October). Authorities will then review the situation and decide if the order needs to be extended.
Increased Police Presence and Stop-and-Searches
Inspector Craig Woolnough from Slough police station said:
“I fully appreciate the concern that incidents such as this cause in the community, and that has led to this Section 60 order.”
“You’ll see more uniformed officers on the streets, offering reassurance and working to stop any repeat attacks.”
“Under this order, police have the authority to conduct stop-and-searches from 6.20pm onwards.”
“These orders help prevent serious violence and aren’t taken lightly.”
“If you’re stopped, don’t panic — it doesn’t mean you’re in trouble. It’s a method to keep weapons off our streets.”
Expect a noticeable police presence and a boost in stop-and-search operations across the designated areas while the order remains in force.
