Gunman on the Run After Two Nights of Shootouts in South East London
A tense manhunt is underway after shots rang out for the second night running in Southeast London. Armed Met Police swooped on Brockley Park just after 10.30pm on Monday (December 12) following reports of gunfire.
Second Night of Chaos Just 100 Yards Apart
This latest shooting came less than 24 hours after a separate incident at Brockley Gardens, barely 100 yards away. Locals are rattled as gunfire shattered the peace two nights in a row.
At the scene in Brockley Park, police found numerous bullet casings littered across the crime scene, evidence of the ongoing gun battles plaguing the area.
Crime Scene Sealed Off, Investigation Ongoing
The Met has cordoned off the area, launching a full-scale investigation as officers hunt for the elusive gunman. Police have been approached for comment about potential links between the two shootings but have yet to confirm any connections.
With armed cops combing the streets, the pressure is on to bring the shooter to justice and restore calm to Southeast London’s Brockley neighbourhood.
