Twickenham Blaze Destroys Home, Leaves Three Hospitalised

Drama on Morley Road as a fierce fire guts half the ground floor and part of the first floor of a house on Sunday evening.

Firefighters Battle Blaze

Four fire engines and about 25 firefighters swooped in after the alarm was raised at 8.03pm. Crews from Richmond, Twickenham, and Heston fire stations tackled the flames until the incident was declared over just over an hour later at 9.12pm.

Three Escape But Suffer Smoke Inhalation

A woman and two children escaped the burning home before firefighters arrived but were hospitalised due to smoke inhalation. The London Ambulance Service rushed them to safety.

Cause of Fire Under Investigation

The London Fire Brigade’s experts and the Met Police are now probing what sparked the devastating blaze.
