Hampshire Police Back Retired Hero Dogs with Pensions4Paws

Hampshire Police Federation Secretary Garry Smith and Chief Constable Olivia Pinkney have shown their support for retired police dogs by making their annual donation to the Pensions4Paws charity.

Helping Retired Police Dogs Get the Care They Deserve

Pensions4Paws was pioneered by Hampshire and Thames Valley Police and has already helped over 60 retired police dogs. The charity covers everything from routine medical checks to major operations and end-of-life care.

Both police forces and the Federation donate to every dog that retires from service, giving heroes a comfortable retirement.

Charity Voices Gratitude for Generous Support

Dog handler PC Kelly Bartle, representing Pensions4Paws, said, “I am delighted to have met with Hampshire Chief Constable Pinkney and Hampshire Federation Secretary Garry Smith to talk about the support we provide for our retired police dogs. Their annual donation is hugely appreciated and will go a long way to helping these loyal dogs.”
