Hit-and-Run Horror Shuts Down Kent Road
Kent Police have launched a probe after a hit-and-run left a person seriously injured in the early hours of Tuesday.
Midnight Mayhem on New Road
Officers were called just before midnight to reports of someone badly hurt and a vehicle fleeing the scene on New Road.
Police paramedics and an air ambulance rushed to the scene.
Major Emergency Response Lasts All Night
A huge emergency service presence stayed throughout the night as the Serious Collision Investigation Unit conducted a full forensic examination.
New Road remains closed to pedestrians and vehicles. Local diversions are in place while the investigation continues.
