Digger Rams Shop in Early Morning Smash-Up!

A brazen break-in was reported to Kent Police at 2.36am on Friday 12 November 2021 after a digger was driven straight into a shop on St Martins Hill, causing major damage to the building’s front.

Getaway Vehicles Spotted Leaving Scene

Two vehicles – a white Range Rover Evoque and a white pick-up truck – were seen outside the shop during the incident. Both sped off towards Littlebourne shortly afterwards.

Cash Machine Found Abandoned on Nearby Road

The stolen cash machine was later recovered on the A257, Littlebourne Road. Police arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of burglary in connection with the raid.

Investigation Underway – Police Seek Witnesses

Detectives from Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are probing the incident. The road remains closed as enquiries continue.
