BREAKING: Cops swoop and arrest an 18-year-old man over the brutal murder of Michelle Sadio in Brent.

Suspect Held in Michelle Sadio Murder Probe

Police arrested an 18-year-old on Wednesday, 8 January, in connection with the shocking slaying of Michelle Sadio. He remains in custody as detectives dig deeper into the fatal case.

Police Renew Call for Witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke, leading the investigation, urged anyone with tips to come forward. He said:

“This arrest is a key step, but we still need the public’s help. Michelle’s murder was a senseless act of violence that robbed an innocent woman of her life. Her family mourn deeply, and we’re determined to bring those responsible to justice. If you know anything, please speak to us.”

Tragic Shooting Outside NW10 Church

The murder probe began after gunshots rang out on Gifford Road, NW10, around 9:15pm on Saturday, 14 December. Michelle, 44, was standing outside a church after a wake when she was gunned down. Emergency crews tried to save her but she died at the scene.

Two men in their 30s were also injured: one remains critical but stable in hospital; the other has since been discharged.

Getaway Car Set Ablaze

  • Detectives say shots were fired from a black Kia Niro with distinctive alloys and registration plate LA23 XRE.
  • The car was later found abandoned and deliberately set on fire on Barnhill Road.
  • Police enquiries into this violent rampage are ongoing.
