Tragic Crash on A20 London Road Claims Life of Woman in Her 60s
Disaster struck at 5.45pm on Wednesday 19 January 2022, when a blue Ford B-Max and a green Ford Transit van collided head-on on the A20 London Road. The car was heading downhill, while the van was travelling uphill at the time of the crash.
Woman Dies After Serious Injuries
Both drivers were rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, the woman driving the Ford B-Max, a 60-something from West Kingsdown, passed away on Friday 28 January. The van driver has since been discharged and is recovering.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is still probing the crash. They want anyone who witnessed the collision, or caught it on dashcam or CCTV, to come forward. Officers urge witnesses to call 01622 798538 quoting reference JW/LB/010/22, or email [email protected].
