Police Hunt Hit-and-Run Driver After Serious A2 Crash Near Dartford
Three-Vehicle Smash on A2
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is on the case after a serious crash on the A2 near Dartford. The collision happened around 10:40pm on Friday, February 16, 2024, on the Watling Street coastbound carriageway, between the A296 and Ebbsfleet junctions.
The smash involved a black Ford Fiesta, a blue Audi S3, and a blue MG HS. A passenger in the Fiesta suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital. The Fiesta’s driver and another passenger were also hurt but their injuries are not serious.
Hit-and-Run Driver Flees Scene
The biggest concern for police is the driver of the blue Audi S3, who bolted from the scene before officers arrived, along with a female passenger. Both are white and in their 20s. The man is slim with short blonde hair; the woman has a medium build and shoulder-length blonde hair. They were last seen walking away on foot.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
