Ford Fiesta Driver Goes Berserk in Morning Road Rage Attack
Police are hunting witnesses after a violent road rage incident on the A350 early Wednesday, October 7. Between 7.15am and 7.30am, two vehicles were heading south from Cepen Park South, Chippenham, towards Beanacre near Melksham when things turned nasty.
Aggressive Driver Attacks Audi in Broad Daylight
The driver of a blue Ford Fiesta reportedly drove aggressively and dangerously along the route. Near Beanacre, he stopped his car and confronted a black Audi A4. The Fiesta driver — a white man in his 30s, broad build, full beard, wearing shorts and a long-sleeve top — allegedly began punching and kicking the Audi, damaging the vehicle.
He then reportedly attacked the Audi’s driver through the car window in a shocking assault. The exact location is thought to be near the Westlands Lane junction and nearby bus stops.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Det Sgt Jo Webber said: “This type of behaviour and manner of driving on our roads is simply unacceptable.”
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or the Fiesta’s reckless driving earlier along the A350 from Chippenham to come forward.”
“I’m particularly keen to speak to the driver of a supermarket delivery vehicle seen parked with hazard lights on in the area, who may have vital info.”
“Anyone with dash cam footage or other information should call 101 quoting crime ref 54200100702.”
