Stolen Land Rover Leads Cops to Armed Suspect
Phillip Bailey, 31, from Gravesham, was arrested after police found a stolen black Land Rover Defender at his Meopham home on Beechwood Gardens. The vehicle had been reported stolen from London just the day before.
Firearms, Drugs, and Stolen Luxury Cars Seized
Officers swooped on Bailey’s property, uncovering multiple firearms, drugs, and pricey items believed to be connected to criminal activity, including another stolen Range Rover.
Charged with Gun Possession and Handling Stolen Goods
On 8 April, Bailey faced serious charges involving:
- Six counts of handgun possession
- Possession of 9mm ammo without a certificate
- Two counts of handling stolen vehicles (Land Rover Defender & Range Rover)
- Possession of criminal property
- Possession of cocaine
Bailey was remanded in custody by Medway magistrates and is set to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 6 May.
