Police Seal Off East Hoath Wood Over Serious Concern

Kent Police were scrambled at around 1pm on Wednesday, June 9, after reports raised alarm over a person in East Hoath Wood, Gillingham.

Officers quickly cordoned off all entrances to the woods, barring the public from entering the area. Cordon tape stretched deep into the forest, where two PSCOs stood guard, ensuring no one got in or out.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers, together with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, attended the location and remain at the scene.
