Toddler, 2, Killed in Shocking Wembley Car Crash
A heartbreaking tragedy struck Wembley on Sunday evening when a two-year-old boy was hit by a car on a quiet residential street. Despite frantic efforts by emergency services, the toddler was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency Crews Race to Scene
The horror unfolded just after 7:15pm on Rowley Close, northwest London. Police, paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance trauma team sped to the crash site after being alerted to the collision.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed they sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and a trauma team. They were powerless to save the child, who died instantly.
Police Launch Investigation, Driver Questioned
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police are investigating a fatal collision that took place in Rowley Close, Wembley, at around 7.15 pm on Sunday, 27 October. A car was in collision with a two-year-old boy. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he sadly died.”
The driver has been questioned but no arrests have been made so far. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the incident.
