Massive Search Underway for Missing 9-Year-Old in Newhaven
A desperate hunt is ongoing after a nine-year-old boy vanished from Newhaven beach in East Sussex.
Alarm Raised After Day at the Beach
The alarm was sounded just after 6pm when the child’s parent contacted police, fearing the youngster was missing. The family had spent the day at Westbeach in Newhaven before the boy disappeared.
Police, Coastguard & Lifeboat Join Forces
Sussex Police are leading the operation, with the coastguard search and rescue team and lifeboat crews called in to scour the area.
