Teens Duel with Machetes Outside Dalston Starbucks

Shocking scenes erupted outside a Starbucks on Kingsland High Street, Dalston, as two teenagers clashed wielding machetes. Police swooped and arrested two boys, aged 15 and 16, bringing the violent brawl to a halt.

Blade-Wielding Brawl Sparks Panic

One teen, dressed head-to-toe in black, brandished two long blades in a menacing fight. Suddenly, another attacker launched a machete strike from behind – but crucially slipped and fell flat on his face. Amid screams from nearby women and girls, the injured youth quickly stood up and, backed by an accomplice, gave chase down Kingsland High Street.

Met Police Crack Down on Gang Violence

The chaotic clash involved at least six people and unfolded on Wednesday evening. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“Police were called around 6pm on Wednesday to an altercation on Kingsland High Street in Dalston, Hackney. Officers arrested a 16-year-old boy suspected of affray and a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon. Both remain in custody. Nobody was injured in the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.”

Eyewitness Captures Growing Chaos

Onlookers were horrified when one attacker dropped a samurai sword right on the pavement near Starbucks, close to popular eateries Popeyes and Wingstop.

One male witness said: “F*** me! He’s dropping his Sami (samurai sword).”

Taxi drivers and motorcyclists blared horns as the rival gangs sped off, leaving stunned crowds in their wake.
