Fake Gun Panic at Gatwick: Man Arrested on Train

A man was hauled off a train at Gatwick Airport today after sparking terror with fake guns. British Transport Police (BTP) sprang into action at 12:45pm following reports of a gunman aboard a Brighton-bound train.

Sussex Police wasted no time. When the train pulled into Gatwick 40 minutes later, officers arrested the suspect, who was found carrying two imitation firearms.

Train Chaos But Services Back on Track

The arrest triggered a brief disruption, with Southern Railway halting stops at Gatwick Airport station as a precaution.

Police are still investigating the scare, but service has now returned to normal. Authorities urge passengers to stay calm as inquiries continue.
