After a thorough probe by the Roads Policing Unit, a man in his 30s from Eastleaze, Swindon, was arrested on December 28. He’s currently held at Gablecross police station, facing charges of dangerous driving. Questions will be fired at him as investigations continue.

“It goes without saying that these kinds of speeds are ridiculous, and this behaviour will not be tolerated,” said Sergeant Ben Cox. “We will identify those involved and ensure they are put before the courts so that they can be held accountable for their actions.”
