Police are on the hunt after a violent assault rocked Carston Close, Lewisham, on Friday evening.

Man Bat-Whacked and Doused with Unknown Liquid

At about 5:33pm, cops rushed to a house following reports of a bizarre attack involving a bat and a strange substance. They found a man with minor injuries from being hit with the bat. He also claimed someone threw an unknown, non-corrosive liquid over him.

Victim Rushed to Hospital

The London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service took the injured man to hospital as a precaution. Authorities confirmed the liquid was safe and not corrosive, ruling out further danger.

Suspect on the Run

The attacker, thought to be known to the victim, fled before police arrived. No arrests have been made yet, and enquiries are ongoing.
