Deadly Crash in Carshalton: Police Hunt Dash Cam Witnesses
Detectives are urgently appealing for dash cam footage after a tragic collision in Carshalton left a 24-year-old motorcyclist dead.
Van and Motorcycle Collide Late Wednesday
Police were called to Wrythe Lane at 11.15pm on Wednesday, 6 August, following reports of a crash involving a van and a motorcycle. The rider was rushed to hospital but sadly later died. His family have been informed.
Van Driver Arrested on Serious Charges
The van driver, believed to be in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the probe and appeals for anyone with dash cam footage or information to come forward.
