Man Dies in Shocking Late-Night Crash on Southampton Road
A tragic smash on the A3057 near Southampton has claimed the life of a 20-year-old man. The fatal collision happened just after 10.30pm last night, involving a black Volkswagen Lupo and a silver BMW 520.
Deadly Crash Between Nursling and Romsey
Police rushed to the scene between Nursling and Romsey after receiving reports of the collision. The driver of the Volkswagen Lupo, a young man from Southampton, died at the scene from his injuries.
BMW Driver and Passenger Injured but Stable
The male driver of the BMW and his female passenger suffered injuries but are not expected to face life-changing harm. Both were taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Police Launch Probe & Appeal for Witnesses
Officers have started an urgent investigation to establish what caused the deadly crash. They are appealing for anyone who saw the crash or either vehicle before the accident to come forward.
