Man Shot on Busy Peckham Road

A man was rushed to hospital after being shot on Peckham Hill Street, South London, late on Friday night, 31 January 2025. The victim suffered a gunshot wound but thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police Launch Urgent Appeal

Southwark Police are hunting the shooter and have appealed for witnesses. The shooting happened around 11:30pm on a busy road, sparking a swift emergency response. Officers want anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam or mobile footage to come forward immediately.

We are investigating a shooting that took place on Peckham Hill Street at around 11:25pm last night,” a Met Police spokesperson said. “A man sustained a gunshot wound, but his injuries are non-life-changing. We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to contact us immediately.”
