Stabbing Shakes Croydon Shopping Centre
Drama unfolded in Croydon yesterday evening as police rushed to two scenes of a stabbing near West Croydon station. Both the Centrale Shopping Centre and North End were quickly sealed off by officers following the attack.
Man Stabbed in the Leg
At around 5:20pm on Monday, May 13, emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing on North End. On arrival, they found a man suffering a stab wound to his leg. He was immediately taken to hospital, where medics confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening.

Stabbing Victim Arrested Over Weapons and Theft
In a twist, the injured man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and handling stolen goods. Authorities have since closed the crime scenes, handing over the investigation to South Area CID.
Police cars were seen cordoning off parts of the shopping centre and nearby streets as they gathered evidence. The London Ambulance Service has been approached for further comment on the incident.
