Man stabbed inside Croydon bar on New Year’s Day
A man was reportedly stabbed in a licensed venue on George Street, Croydon, just minutes after midnight on New Year’s Day.
Knife attack sparks early hours chaos
Metropolitan Police rushed to the scene at 00:10 on January 1st following reports of a stabbing inside the bar. The victim was quickly treated by London Ambulance Service staff and taken to hospital.
Injuries not life threatening
Thankfully, the man’s wounds have been assessed as non-life changing. Despite the swift response, no arrests have been made so far.
Police hunt suspects, appeal for witnesses
