Racist Attack at Gipsy Hill Station: Police Hunt Man Who Punched Teen Girl
Police have released images of a man they want to question after a shocking racist assault at Gipsy Hill railway station in South London.
Shocking Assault on Young Girl
British Transport Police (BTP) sprang into action after reports of a violent altercation on the evening of Thursday, February 6, just before 7.45pm. A man aggressively barged into a group of girls, shouting racist abuse. When one girl confronted him, he punched her three times in the face. Others who tried to step in were also attacked.
Images Released – Can You ID This Man?
Detectives have now shared two photos of the suspect. He’s seen wearing a dark jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans, and a grey beanie. He was carrying a Sainsbury’s shopping bag and a laptop case at the time.
BTP spokesman: “Detectives investigating an assault on a group of girls at Gipsy Hill station are today releasing these images in connection.”
