Two masked raiders tried and failed to break into a home in Great Warley near Brentwood just before midnight on April 11. The incident unfolded around Warley Road and Beredens Lane, sparking a police hunt.

Essex Police confirmed the intruders didn’t get inside, and thankfully, nobody was hurt. Officers are probing whether one of the suspects was armed but have made no arrests yet. The investigation is moving on several targeted lines.

Residents who spotted anything odd between 10pm and midnight on April 11 are urged to come forward. Police particularly want any CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell camera footage from the Warley Road and Beredens Lane area.
