Mass Brawl in Sutton Ends in Multiple Stabbings
A brutal brawl involving 40 to 60 people erupted on Oakhill Road, Sutton, on Sunday night – leaving several individuals stabbed. Armed police and TGS officers scrambled to the scene just after 9pm.
Life-Saving Aid at Scene
First officers on the scene quickly sprang into action, using first aid kits to treat a man found injured on a driveway. Several victims have since been rushed to hospital as the area was put on lockdown.
Knife and Crime Scene Evidence Found
- At the corner of Oakhill Road and Thicket Road, a property showed signs of the chaos, with medical equipment and a man’s clothing cut off after he was stabbed outside his home.
- A blood-covered kitchen knife believed to be the weapon was left at the scene.
- Eriskine Road was scattered with crime scene markers, highlighting blood stains and vital evidence on the pavement.
Police Lockdown and Investigation Underway
A police cordon stretches down Parkhurst Road, where a second property and nearby block of flats remain locked down. Reports suggest more attacks took place inside the flats.
Crime scene officers from the Met Police have been combing the area, taking photos and gathering evidence. The Met has been contacted for comment but are yet to respond.
