Burglary Attempt Shakes Portsmouth Neighbourhood

Two Masked Men Caught Trying to Break In

Residents in Portchester, Paulsgrove, and Cosham are on high alert after a daring attempted burglary in the Wymering area of Portsmouth. Witnesses spotted two white males trying to break into a home through the windows.

One suspect was dressed head-to-toe in black – a black tracksuit with the hood up, black Nike trainers showing the iconic white tick, a black backpack with white writing, a balaclava, and gloves. The other wore a dark grey tracksuit and white shoes. Alarmingly, one of the pair was carrying a shovel.

Neighours’ Quick Thinking Foils Break-In

Thanks to the quick response of vigilant neighbours, the burglars failed in their bid to enter the property. The man in black made a hasty escape on a red and white moped, sporting a bright neon helmet.
