Police Launch Hunt After Early Morning Break-In in Southsea

Police are hunting for witnesses after a brazen break-in in Portsmouth’s Southsea at 2.30am this morning (March 15).

Two Men Force Door, Flee in Car

Two men targeted a property on St Andrew’s Road. One knocked on the ground-floor window demanding the occupant “open” the door. They then forced open the communal front door to get inside.

Despite entering the building, the pair made a quick getaway in a car. Luckily, no one was harmed and nothing was stolen.

Police Describe One Suspect

  • Black male, early to mid-20s
  • Height: about 5’10” to 5’11”
  • Slim build
  • Clean-shaven
  • Wearing a dark hoodie zipped up to his chin
