Brutal Early Morning Assault in Southsea

Police are hunting for answers after a violent attack in Southsea left a 20-year-old man with serious head injuries.

Man Found Bloodied at Southsea Junction

The victim was discovered slumped on the pavement at the junction of Frensham Road and Heyshott Road around 4:15am on Sunday, November 27.

He was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital with serious, but thankfully non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been discharged.

Suspect Arrested and Bailed

A 27-year-old portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He has been bailed until January 19, 2017, pending further investigation.
