Urgent Appeal as Woman Vanishes Near Barnet Shopping Centre
Louise Kam was last spotted near the Spires Shopping Centre in Barnet at around 12.30pm on Monday, 26 July. The Chinese woman, who lives in Potters Bar, has gone missing and police are scrambling for any leads.
Who Is Louise Kam?
- Height: About 5ft 4ins
- Build: Slim
- Hair: Very long black hair
- Eyes: Brown
- Style: Usually smartly dressed, often with a red handbag
Louise was driving a black BMW 3 Series convertible, registration LM11 ECJ. She is believed to have travelled from Borehamwood to Barnet, then headed towards Willesden High Road on the afternoon of 26 July. The car was found by police on 28 July in north-west London, but detectives want to hear from anyone who saw it earlier that week.
Two Men Held as Search for Louise Intensifies
Two males are currently in police custody linked to the investigation. Officers say Louise’s disappearance is completely out of character, and her family — especially her two sons — are deeply worried.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, Specialist Crime, said: “Louise’s disappearance is entirely out of character. Her family – in particular her two sons – are extremely worried about her. Officers are also becoming increasingly concerned for Louise’s safety. It is vital that anyone who knows anything gets in touch with police or Crimestoppers as a matter of urgency.”
