Woman Found Dead in Hounslow Wood – Police Launch Appeal
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a woman’s body was discovered in Donkey Wood, Hounslow.
Body Found in River
Police were called at 11:29am on Tuesday, 20 December, following reports of a body in the river off Staines Road. Officers recovered the woman, aged 61 and from the Feltham area, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Death Not Treated as Suspicious
Specialist officers supported the woman’s family, who were informed promptly. A post-mortem revealed the cause of death as natural causes, and police say no foul play is suspected.
