Missing 82-Year-Old Found Safe After Intense 21-Hour Search
An 82-year-old man who vanished in Maidstone has been safely found after a massive police operation, Kent Police confirmed tonight.
Major Search Effort in Pitch-Black Conditions
Mr Cheeseman disappeared from the Downswood area on Thursday, November 17. Since then, police, rescue teams, and specialist units scoured fields through the night. Drones and “eyes in the sky” from NPAS joined the hunt, battling pitch-black conditions to track him down.
Teamwork and Technology Save the Day
After a grueling 21-hour search, the Kent Search and Rescue (KSAR) team found Mr Cheeseman in woodland areas. They helped with medical treatment and ensured his safe transfer to an ambulance. Police praised the heroic efforts of all involved.
