Tragic Soho Road crash claims life of devoted dad
The family of Hizar Hanif, 31, have paid a heartfelt tribute after he died in a crash on Soho Road this Sunday.
‘He went above and beyond for family and friends’
Hizar’s wife, mother to their young son, described him as “the most driven and passionate person I knew.” She added, “He went above and beyond for his family and friends, everyone who knew him loved him.”
Remembering his infectious smile, she said, “His smile lit up his face and made his eyes sparkle. His cute laugh and the way he made me feel safe and loved – Hizar was truly one of a kind.”
A life packed with memories, dreams cut short
“He accomplished so much in the short time he had,” his wife continued. “We travelled the world, created memories and laughed endlessly. We truly lived.”
She spoke of his dreams and regrets, “He had so many dreams and much more to achieve, but his chapter sadly came to an end.”
Hizar leaves behind a “distraught son who will make daddy proud.” Clutching his favourite hoody, she said, “I’m praying never to forget his voice or smell. It was a life well lived – I can say with hand on heart he had no regrets.”
