Firebomb Chaos at Famous London Abbey Road Restaurant
A bustling London eatery near the iconic Abbey Road studios was rocked by a terrifying attack late on Friday night, 28 April 2023. A flaming firebomb was hurled into the packed restaurant, sparking a major emergency response and turning the venue into a crime scene.
Emergency Services Rush In
Six fire engines, police, and paramedics swarmed the scene after frantic 999 calls reported thick smoke and toxic fumes filling the restaurant. The incendiary device’s fumes trapped staff and diners inside, forcing 999 operators to give life-saving instructions before firefighters arrived wearing breathing apparatus and hauling hose reels to tackle the blaze.
Knife-Wielding Gang Sparks Panic
Police revealed that a group of males stormed the restaurant around 10.30pm, threatening staff with knives before setting the fire. The attackers fled the scene before officers arrived. Fortunately, the flames were quickly extinguished, and no injuries have been confirmed so far.
Manhunt Underway for Attackers
Detectives from Central West CID are combing through CCTV footage and following all leads to track down the suspects behind this reckless attack. There have been no arrests yet.
