Glasgow Murder Shock: Young Woman Found Dead in Flat
Police Scotland has launched a murder probe after 23-year-old Brodie MacGregor was found dead in a flat on Elmvale Street, Springburn, Glasgow. Officers were called to the scene around 10:15am Monday morning, but despite emergency services’ efforts, Ms MacGregor was pronounced dead at the location.
Murder Investigation Underway
Following a post-mortem, police confirmed the death is being treated as murder. The investigation is centred on Elmvale Street, with officers appealing for witnesses and information.
Detective Chief Inspector Lynsey Watters, leading the Major Investigation Team, said: “An extensive investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding this death.”
Increased police presence has been spotted in the area as inquiries continue.
Police Hunt Witnesses and CCTV Footage
Authorities want to speak to anyone near Elmvale Street between 4:30am and 10:30am on Monday, August 26, who may have seen anything suspicious. DCI Watters urged residents and businesses to check any CCTV or dashcam footage, saying it “could assist our investigation.”
