Murder Probe Launched After Fatal Stabbing in Hounslow
A murder investigation is underway after a deadly stabbing in west London’s Hounslow. Emergency services rushed to Hanworth Road near School Road at 2:21pm on Sunday, 22 June.
Police and paramedics found a 22-year-old man with serious stab wounds. Despite being rushed to hospital, he sadly died from his injuries. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
Stabbing Outside Busy Hounslow Muslim Centre
The attack happened right outside the Hounslow Muslim Centre, a busy community hub in the heart of the borough. Police say there’s no suggestion the centre was involved in the stabbing. A crime scene is in place and local bus routes were diverted as forensic teams combed the area for clues.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, is leading the hunt for answers.
“My thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. This attack happened in a busy part of Hounslow during the middle of the afternoon. It’s vital we hear from anyone who saw the incident, the events leading up to it, or what happened afterwards. You may hold vital dash cam or mobile footage. Please come forward.”
