Teenager Stabbed to Death Near Stratford Broadway
A teenage boy has been fatally stabbed near Stratford Broadway Shopping Centre in east London. Emergency services were called to the scene, but medics were unable to save him after he suffered multiple stab wounds.
Police Launch Murder Investigation
The Met Police have cordoned off the area and opened a murder probe. A spokesperson said: “Detectives are investigating after a male teenager was fatally stabbed outside Stratford Broadway at 3.20pm today. A crime scene remains in place.”
Section 60 Stop and Search Powers Now Active
A Section 60 order is currently in force around Stratford and nearby areas, allowing police to carry out stop-and-search operations without suspicion.
