Man Found Injured in Whitburn – Police Launch Urgent Appeal
A 44-year-old man was found injured on a grassed area along Turnhigh Road, Whitburn, at around 9.45am on Saturday, January 27. Police Scotland are now desperate for anyone with information to come forward.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
The injured man’s identity remains undisclosed. He was swiftly taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment. Detective Inspector Graham Garvie from the CID confirmed officers are probing the circumstances surrounding the attack.
CCTV and Witnesses Sought
Police are reviewing CCTV footage and conducting house-to-house inquiries around Turnhigh Road. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area between 8am and 10am on January 27.
Man’s Description and Public Appeal
- Approximate height: 6 feet
- Build: Slim
- Hair: Short, dark
- Clothing at time of incident: Black hooded top, pink T-shirt, black jogging bottoms, trainers
Detective Inspector Garvie said: “I appeal to anyone who saw a man matching this description or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to contact us as soon as possible.”
