NCA Launches Hunt for Dangerous Drug Dealer David McAlpine
The National Crime Agency (NCA) has issued a fresh appeal to track down David McAlpine, 31, from Liverpool. He’s wanted over his role in distributing class A and B drugs across the UK.
Wide Net Cast Across UK
McAlpine is connected to Liverpool, St Helens, North Wales, and the Wick and Thurso areas of northern Scotland, making him a slippery target. Standing 6 feet tall with a broad build and hazel eyes, he’s marked by a scar on his forehead. His look changes often – sometimes shoulder-length ginger hair, other times a shaved head.
Last Seen Living on a Canal Barge
Law enforcement believe McAlpine was last spotted on a barge moored in Maghull, Sefton, Merseyside. His capture is part of Operation Venetic, the NCA’s big crackdown following the fall of the EncroChat encrypted messaging service used by criminals nationwide.
‘He Knows We’re After Him,’ Warns NCA Chief
“McAlpine will know he is wanted by the NCA and must be under significant stress. If he is reading this, I urge him to make contact with us,” said Mick Pope, NCA branch commander. However, the public is strictly warned not to confront him.
