Nine Nabbed in Major Gosport Class A Drug Bust
Police swooped today (Tuesday 16 July) in a big crackdown on Class A drug dealers in Gosport, arresting nine suspects across multiple locations.
Warrants Carried Out Across Gosport Hotspots
Officers executed search warrants at addresses in Stoners Close, Sunbeam Way, and Pavilion Way, where most arrests took place. Another suspect was hauled in from Forton Park.
Suspects Held on Drug Offences
- Three women and five men from Gosport, aged 22 to 55
- One 32-year-old man from Liverpool
All nine remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Top Cop Praises Team Effort in Fighting Drugs
“This was a great piece of work with officers across the Force – including Neighbourhoods, Investigations, and Public Order teams – joining forces to hit addresses linked to Class A drug dealing,” said Chief Inspector Mark Lewis. “We’ve made a significant number of arrests today, which we hope reassures the people living in these areas that we take the supply of Class A drugs extremely seriously.”
