Portsmouth Police Smash Drug Ring with Five Arrests in Southsea Raid
Police swooped on Elm Grove, Southsea, last night (March 24), executing two warrants linked to drug dealing and violence. Their crackdown, part of the hard-hitting Operation Fortress campaign, led to five Portsmouth men being arrested.
Five Arrested in Elm Grove Drug Bust
- Men aged 19 to 26, all locals from Portsmouth, were detained.
- All five suspects have been released on bail pending further investigations.
Two More Held in Crabbe Court Sting
- Officers also arrested two 17-year-old males from London during high-visibility police patrols.
- The teens stand accused of involvement in drug supply and remain in custody.
Inspector Phil Lamb, who led the operation, said: “Today’s drugs warrants and proactive activity are part of our ongoing efforts to tackle drug crime and violence on our streets.”
