Manhunt Underway After Patient Flees Uxbridge Road Newsagents

Mosa Jamal Abid made a break for it around 3pm on Monday, 10 April. He was on escorted leave when he bolted from a newsagents on Uxbridge Road, believed to have fled eastward before possibly heading into Brent Lodge Park.

Police Scramble to Track Down Dangerous Fugitive

The area was combed but Mosa remains at large. Cops are going through CCTV footage and continuing intensive searches.

The 26-year-old was last spotted wearing a navy hooded jacket, black trousers, and blue trainers.

Warning: Fugitive Potentially Violent and Needs Medical Care

Mosa can be violent and should not be approached by members of the public. He needs regular medication and may seek hospital help.

It’s also possible he might visit local mosques during Iftar for food or drink. Police have alerted hospitals and mosques in the area.

Detective Inspector Alistair Stillgoe said: “I know this will worry the community, but our officers are working around the clock to find Mosa and get him back to hospital safely.”
