Tragic Death on Twickenham Road as Cyclist Killed in Crash
Cyclist Dies After Collision Near Richmond Rugby Club
Police were called at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, 30 March, following a collision between a car and a cyclist on the A316 Twickenham Road, close to Richmond Rugby Club.
The cyclist, a woman in her 50s, was rushed to a central London hospital but sadly died the following day, Wednesday 31 March. Her family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Driver Remains at Scene, Investigation Underway
The driver stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
