A 12-year-old boy fought off a creepy stranger who tried to drag him away at a bus stop in broad daylight.
Man Grabs Boy at Bus Stop
It happened yesterday morning at 9.25am on Windermere Avenue, outside Millbrook Towers. The boy was waiting for a bus when a man suddenly grabbed his arm and said, “Come with me.”
Boy Fights Back and Escapes
The boy punched the man in the ribs, forcing him to release his grip. He then bolted down Green Lane. The man twice tried to follow but the boy finally got away at around 9.30am.
Police Seek Public’s Help
The suspect is described as:
- White male, 30-40 years old
- 5ft 11ins tall, slightly chubby build
- Short dark brown hair
- Wearing a dark blue, waist-length raincoat
- A scar or mark on left cheek
Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam, CCTV, mobile, or Ring doorbell footage to come forward.
