Knife Threat and Attack at Prince’s Esplanade: Police Hunt Teen Trio
Knife-Wielding Youths Target Boys
Two boys were walking along Prince’s Esplanade at around 6.20pm on Thursday, 15 April, when they were confronted by three young men. One 15-year-old was grabbed by his jacket and threatened with what is believed to be a knife.
Adding to the horror, the attacker threw an unknown liquid in the victim’s face.
Victim Hospitalised but Injuries Not Severe
The boy was rushed to hospital but, thankfully, his injuries were not serious or life-changing.
Police Seek Witnesses and Info on Suspects
Detectives urge anyone with information about the assault or the identity of the attackers to come forward.
- All three suspects are white, aged 17 to 18.
- Attacker: Slim build, 5ft 8in tall, grey hooded tracksuit, black Nike Puffer jacket.
- Second man: Grey hooded tracksuit with a grey sleeveless jacket featuring orange lining.
- Third man: Blue jeans, blue jacket, short brown hair.
