Suspicious Fire Rips Through Horsebox and Trailers in Birchington

Kent Police are probing a suspicious blaze that broke out early Tuesday in Birchington. At around 3.20am on 15 November 2022, officers were alerted to a horsebox on fire at a site on St Margaret’s Road.

Fire Spreads to Trailers and Trees

Kent Fire and Rescue quickly doused the flames that had spread from the horsebox to nearby trailers and trees. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Police Hunting Witnesses After Early Morning Blaze

The fire, believed to have started before 3am, is being treated as suspicious. Detectives attended the scene to kick off their investigation.
