Fatal M2 Crash: Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are appealing for witnesses after a deadly smash on the M2 early Sunday morning. At 6.14am on 27 November 2022, a red Nissan Qashqai collided with a red Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG between junctions six and five on the London-bound carriageway.
Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. Tragically, the Nissan’s female driver in her 50s was pronounced dead. A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving.
Road Shut Down, Now Reopened
The M2 was closed for hours following the crash, reopening around 4pm. Police have informed the woman’s next of kin.
