Valuable and Sentimental Items Targeted

Thieves didn’t stop at the watch. They also made off with:

  • A gold men’s ring featuring a single diamond, worth about £1,000

Police Plea to Return Precious Keepsakes

PC Charlotte Webster from Nottinghamshire Police revealed the victim is an 83-year-old man desperate to get his watch back. She said, “It’s the only piece of jewellery he ever bought for himself. It’s rare and holds huge sentimental value.”

Officers are hunting the culprits and want the public’s help. Anyone spotting the watch or other items is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting reference 22*721408. You can also report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
